We work very hard to ensure that our horses as foals are easy to catch, halter broke and possibly foot broke (depending on how each one matures). They have a healthy respect for humans yet they are not treated as "pets".

Aged horses are priced separate as individuals as they seem to find new homes rather quickly.

*Unless stated otherwise.

If there is a horse that you are interested in please feel free to stop by as many times as you like. Making sure you are matched up with the right horse is very important to us, even if it means recommending you to another breeder or horse owner. We encourage people to spend lots of time with a horse prior to purchasing, and we will work with you to help you establish the best possible relationship with your horse.

Also these prices are just a guideline, feel free to make an offer!

Training:

The horses we raise we train ourselves, as well as most of the people who buy them. Typically we only take on outside horses on the condition that the owner will be present as often as possible. Everybody sits differently and everybody gets on a horse in a different way..... therefore we need the rider even if it means that the rider spends the first few times on another horse. If you have had a bad experience in the past we will help you and your horse work through it and move on to greener pastures.

We do not accept one month drop offs!

Monthly Boarding:

 $150.00  basic board

Includes daily hay/grass, grain and water according to individual horses needs, also includes dewormer 2 times annually.

  $250.00 show standard

Includes basic board plus show support, barn use, farrier services, vaccinations and possible transportation to shows in Northern Alberta.

***Please have a coggins test done on your horse prior to their arrival at Straight 'N' Arrow Ranch. Vaccinations are also strongly recommended for your own protection!

We understand that each individual has different needs and we are always willing to work with you and your horse. We have lots of room to ride, offer support for whatever you may need and we are always looking to expand so your ideas are always welcome.
